Black screen/Windowed mode on windows 10

Hey, I'm using windows 10 and since I downloaded CA classic I'm getting a problem that I've never seen before. When I used to get a black screen ingame it usually meant that the resolution was too high. But right now right after I downloaded CA, I tried opening it but I get it in windoweed mode and the window is all black, I can't change the resolution or change the windowed mode to full screen mode ingame because I literally can't see anything. I've searched on the internet for some help but couldn't find. Can anyone help me please?
