In old ca, there was specialists,elite moderators,abilities,hisec cases,better events and missions and more and more. new combat arms is just a game which tried to make like cs go but i prefer to play "ZULA" named Turkish game it is batter than CA Reloaded now.

Maybe this short video can show you specialists but if u want to know more u need to create a new discussion about it on forum, so the others can help u.

1 more thing, they don't need to tell u about classic CA because they want (need!) old players back, too many players i know deleted their accounts after reloaded...

I will add another view too ,a different point of view because everything it is been said here,i agree with it in 100%.My personal opinion is that a lot of guys one of the reason that they dislike the game was this Alcyone46 has mentioned.On the other hand there is a huge part is called Clan wars,there was a lot of clans that there was a lot of competive each other.Clan wars has 4 at least different purpose.The first one is to gather as much as you can exp and so the clan get a level,the higher level a clan could reach after a long time it is level 6 (160.000exp) and more that was in erbaz ca (google it) which shows the week list of clans.Ok let me analize it more,you need at least 4 players
*If you clan win it could get 45exp,
*if it is draw 15
*if it was lose 7
*A game it take from 6 minutes < more.
Result: With other words in 6 minutes you get 45.Lets check the hours 160.000:45=3556 WINS. Lets check time 3556*6 minutes=160020minutes.If i want to do minutes to hours then i will divide 160020/60=2667hours.Could you imagine how long time need..A lot.There are clans more than 160.000exp.
Second part:There is competitive between your nation example if you are italian there are 6 clans italians each having at least 30 persons,that is fantastic playing with against your nation.
Third:You play with others and that very very good,you improve your own skill.That's how you learn.
Four:You play with THE BEST CLANS,meaning every clan has win rate that counts wins-draws-loses.If a clan has a good win rate and much games that means it is good clan.There is snd mode which are snd clans too and there are best clans known.I dont want to tell more but there are 4 clan best in eli pro and lets say 4 in snd clans that there are best.Your purpose is have fun playing vs them or compete them or join them to learn by them.
Ca reload hasn't clan wars?yes it has but the way exist is like doesn't.The old players-old clans gone, stopped play this game because they don't like the Reload it is much more i could say why they don't but it will take me 2 paragraphs more.That come as a result MANY OLD players + MANY TOP CLANS stopping ca.Also,Reload ca as you can check it is urge to play specific maps on clan wars.This is bad,every clan choose the maps they wanted to play and with who will they play.Now you MUST select on of 6maps (as i see ) and play with a clan you don't choose.
Clan war needs skill as aim,spot,good conversation with members of your clan using teamspeak etc and good ears.For me it is the most fantastic gameplay but it is too difficult for a starter.I am from 2009 until now because i love clan wars,i love old fireteam and i love specialist etc who nexon dramaticaly took from us.

With a big clan you could easly reduce the number of hours needed to get that exp.
2667hours is if you count 1 party of players.
Since you said some clans have around 30 players you could instead make 7 parties with 4 players each, 2667/7=381hours.
So in less than a month or two you could have a clan with 160.000 exp.
