So I took the time to look at some of the ARs and SMGs in the game and I feel that two specific sets of weapons are rather underwhelming in terms of statistics and feel that they should receive some form of positive rebalancing to make them viable instead of just being there for show and warming up the store shelves.
K1A - damage is fine but rate of fire is far too low for an smg. The UMP, P90, PP19, and MP5SD are all far superior weapons in the SMG category when it comes to raw damage, therefore we're gonna need to put the K1A to at least rival their level.
ROF 285 to 333.
K7 - same issue as the K1A but worst due to the lower damage. Thus, it should be compromised with a higher fire rate comparable to the MP5 while having a balanced dmg rating.
DMG 28 to 29.
ROF 285 to 375.
K2 - strong damage, but struggles with its sluggish rate of fire and accuracy compared to the AK74M and AN94. Can be balanced out by increasing its rate of fire to that of a standard AR, keep the recoil to balance it out.
ROF 272 to 285.
Howa Type 89 - has a very good rate of fire but what it really needs is a damage upgrade since it's being outperformed by weapons like the CZ805, M16A4, and REC7.
DMG 35 to 38.
SG550 and variants including the SG556 - oh boy, these guns are far too weak and with poor recoil control, accuracy, and weight. One could just buy the FAMAS or M4A1 instead as these weapons sport better stats than the SG550s while maintaining the same damage rating. Is in desperate need of a buff to make these weapons a little more appealing.
DMG 36 to 38
ACC 46 to 56
MOB 87 to 89
The SG556's ammo count should've been fixed to 30/90 when SG550's got their ammo counts upgraded. Guess Nexon must've forgot about that cuz it's still 25/75 as of today.
CX4 Storm - exact same issue as the Howa, the damage rating is far too weak.
DMG 35 to 38.
RM597 VTR - This weapon is a strange one. High accuracy, high rate of fire, and amazing recoil control but a shitty ammo capacity. This one is in need of more of a rebalancing than an outright buff. A rework ain't, it's needs to be physically remodeled to compensate for the changes.
DMG 36 to 38.
ACC 67 to 65.
MOB 92 to 91.
Recoil 77 to 75.
ROF 300 to 285
Ammo Count 10 to 30.
