What they should do is release all the reward items for perm in the shop and as cosmetics, because some of them are actually cool-looking.

They should also give you the option to slot permanent gear into the cosmetic slots for a visual overlay, that way players would have more options to customize the look of their characters while also having a reason to go for sets they would otherwise be ignoring as they currently offer no practical benefit to them (or at least offer an exchange to turn gear pieces into cosmetic version of them).
