The inside of a dead power supply from a Dell Dimension E520 (Pentium Dual-Core and 4GB of RAM). I've trashpicked the computer a long while ago and it is operable.
DO NOT open power supplies! Even when dead, the insides can still hold enough charge to shock and possibly kill you. Power supplies are NOT serviceable! If they fail, you must replace them. I'm holding it only on the edges to not touch anything from inside.

Ever wondered what the inside of a hard drive looks like? Here it is. The platters are reflective like a mirror too.
This is a dead hard drive. Never open hard drives or remove the board that connects the hard drive to your computer on the bottom.
