Greetings to our Combat Arms Rangers!

This is the development team leader of Combat Arms: Reloaded.

The tough year of 2020 has come to a close and although we are just a few days into the new year, 2021, it seems that plans for gatherings and celebrations would have to wait a little bit more.

Yet still for 2021, I sincerely hope that soon, it will possible again for everyone to get back to their daily activities and mingle with others like before.

Then again, in behalf of the Combat Arms Reloaded Team, we’d like to thank all our players that stuck out with us even with the troubles of 2020. Let’s all share the sense of optimism for this new year!

Now, let’s crack on the Developer’s Briefing.

As the saying goes, “Save the best for last” and for our last update of 2020. We surely did!

On the December 30th Update, we’ve included several very note-worthy content. Namely, the official launch of the Nightmare Mode’s first Boss, the introduction of the Advanced Mystery Boxes and Item Shop revamp.

The official launch of the 1st Nightmare Boss to the game has brought in some updates to game mode. Here are top notable updates with regards the official launch:

    1. Maximum Nightmare Boss Level has been increased to 60. Additionally, a new type of NPC will spawn upon reaching Boss Lv.51.
    2. Rewards are now given to the top participant, stage clear reward and mission achievement reward.
    3. In line with the official launch, we’ve also rolled out a damage record ranking event.

As mentioned on previous Developer Briefings, we brought in some quality-of-life improvements as well introducing the Advance Mystery Boxes.

    1. Added a milestone reward system from accumulated purchases of a selected Advanced Mystery Box. The Milestone reward box allows the player to select a desired item of a similar type.
    2. In celebration of the update, a “Pickup Collection X2 Event” scheduled to be added soon.
    3. The Item Shop Revamp now offers a wider selection of Rare-grade items and has removed common items from availability.

Capping off the review of the updates we’ve rolled-out in the last part of 2020. We’d like to briefly share some general concepts with regards our content development for 2021.

We are planning to continue the addition of more content for the Nightmare mode. We are currently developing the second boss for the Nightmare Mode and adding in a third boss is being considered.

In addition to more types of Nightmare Bosses, we plan on implementing a combat season wherein players can fight against different Nightmare Bosses on a three-month period, each season.

To add a bit of challenge to the Nightmare mode, the bosses’ maximum level will increase each season then gaining new boss skills or encounter new enemy NPCs in succeeding levels.

Since we are amping up the challenges available to our players, we’ll be buffing you up as well. We are currently planning to develop more specialized equipment.

These specialized equipment provide extra stats that will come in handy for specific situations, the current primary focus for theses items are Specialized equipment for the Nightmare mode.

Lastly, we have more plans of adding a healthy variety of content that is sure to peak your interests. I hope that more and more user join as these inspire us to give out more content.

We will always strive to do our best in order to bring a better game experience for everyone.

    Thank you.
