Since the God of Ruin has sent his generals to lead the invading force of his army, relics dropped from them can now benefit anyone that equip this new type of equipment.
New Equipment Slot
A new equipment slot has been added right below the 2nd ring slot in the character information window. Please note that only relics are allowed to be equipped in this slot.
Relics, Appraisal Tools, and the Relic Appraiser
At the release of this patch, only one relic will be available for all players level 55 and above. In order to benefit from the attributes provided by the relic, these attributes must first be appraised by "Erwin", the Relic Appraiser.

Requirements to Appraise a Relic
World Raid Event
The generals of the God of Ruin are unleashing they're wrath wherever they go. Defend Hakain's Crossing and Stygaea and defeat these World Raid Event Bosses! During this event, Crow, will be available at designated locations on certain times to provide the quests related to the World Raid Boss.
Hakain's Crossing
Merciless will be invading Hakain's Crossing every day with the following details.

Stygaea
Brancas will be challenging any and all Riders from any server of the region every day with the following details:

- Erwin can be found in the Market District of Hakain's Crossing.

Appraising
Requirements to Appraise a Relic
- Relic
- Must have at least one effect that needs to be appraised.
- Appraisal Tool
- Appraisal Tool needs to at least be in the same grade as the relic.
- Gold
- Fee for Erwin's hardwork at appraising your relic.
- Locate Erwin in Hakain's Crossing.
- Interact with Erwin and click Relic appraisal in the dialogue window.
- Select the relic you wish to appraise.
- If an appropriate Appraisal Tool is available in your inventory, it will automatically be selected.
- If there is none,you will not be able to appraise the relic.
- Once the relic selected is prepared, you may view the possible attributes that can be a result of appraisal by hovering over the "?" beside the selected relic
- Once all requirements are satisfied, the player may now click the Appraisal button to appraise the relic.
- Players are given the chance to increase the rate of success and decrease the chance of the relic being destroyed by spending Elluns after ticing the checkboxes.
- Note that the "Decrease chance to destroy" checkbox does not 100% prevent the relic from being destroyed as it only decreases the chance.
