  • Why do you need an RMA number on Amazon?

I decided to issue a return to Amazon, but it turns out that I need an RMA number. At first I thought it was some kind of tracking code, but it turns out it's not that simple. Now I'm trying to figure out what kind of number this is, why it is needed and how to get it.

According to Amazon's go back policy, dealers are liable for refunding customers if the object is defective or broken, the item was no longer delivered efficaciously, or if the customer certainly not desires the item. Sellers also are liable for reimbursing customers for shipping fees associated with returning products. To system a go back, dealers need to first touch Amazon customer support and request return authorization. Once you get hold of the rma number you can deliver the item again to Amazon. It is crucial to notice that it isn't feasible to go back an item without an RMA variety.
