Is the iPhone 15 Worth Upgrading From an iPhone 12?

I've been using an iPhone 12 for a while now, and it's still working pretty well. But with all the buzz around the iPhone 15, I'm wondering if it's worth making the jump.

For those who have upgraded, what are the most noticeable improvements? Are the changes in performance, battery life, or camera quality significant enough to justify the cost? Or should I wait another year for the next version?

Also, if you're sticking with an older model, what made you decide not to upgrade?

I upgraded from the iPhone 12 to the 15, so I can share some insights!

The most noticeable improvement for me has been the camera. The new features, like better low-light performance and the upgraded telephoto lens on the Pro models, are amazing if you’re into photography. Battery life has been a bit better, but not a night-and-day difference. Performance-wise, it’s snappier, especially with demanding apps, though the 12 is still solid for everyday tasks.

One thing I found particularly cool is how the iPhone 15 handles third-party software. For instance, using Scarlet iOS, I’ve been able to sideload some tools that really take advantage of the 15’s power and display—stuff that felt a bit laggy on the 12.

That said, if your 12 is working fine and you’re not a heavy camera or power user, waiting another year for the next iteration might be the smarter move. The leap from the 12 to the 15 is noticeable but not groundbreaking. Hope that helps!
